We are a recruitment business and recruitment agency as defined in the Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. Further to this, we are a specialised tax recruiter and so the only information that we collect and use is relevant to our business of the recruitment of tax professionals, including offering career advice and providing market information to candidates and clients alike.
We collect your personal data in order to assist you with finding a new career opportunity. As we provide a bespoke service to each candidate, the more information that we have about you, your experience, your qualifications and your ambitions, the more easily we can provide you with the most appropriate and desirable job opportunities. In order to do this, we may need to collect and retain personal information about you.
The information that we collect includes but is not limited to; name, age, address, contact telephone numbers, email address, employment details (both current and previous) and salary information. We hold this information on our secure database so that we can contact you about relevant job opportunities, as well as keep you informed of any news, seminars or events that may be of interest to you. We may assess and review your information as part of this process.
In order to successfully match you with the most suitable career opportunities, we may need to disclose your personal information to our clients. This may include but is not limited to name, qualifications, work history and remuneration information. We will not share any of your personal information without your prior consent and will never contact any client about you without your prior knowledge. When using any of your data for any of the aforementioned reasons, we endeavour to ensure that your data will be handled in accordance with your rights and our obligations under GDPR and the law. You have the right to refuse your consent at any time in this process.
We collect information in two ways. Firstly, directly from you. This may be from your CV which you have emailed directly to us, or sent through our website or app, or from a telephone, email or face to face conversation with you. Secondly, from external sources such as LinkedIn and CV job boards. Where you have submitted your CV to us by any of these methods, we may contact you in order to speak with you to discuss your current role and offer assistance with your job search. You can inform us of your wish not to be contacted at any time, and can do so by emailing email@example.com.
Through our app, you are able to subscribe to job alerts and updates. In order for us to send these, we hold information on your preferences (location, specialism and level). This information is collected in an anonymous way, and is not used for any other purpose.
We also use analytics software on our website and app. This software records information regarding users and their activity. This may include but is not limited to location, time spent browsing, clicks and action taken. This information is collected in a way that makes it impossible to identify a user, and is used for internal assessment purposes only.
We collect relevant information from our Clients so that we are able to provide you with a pool of suitable candidates for each opportunity, and ensure that we can provide the best service possible. Such information may include contact details so that we can set up interviews and prepare offer letters, salary information so that we can perform benchmarking exercises and any other relevant information, such as may be contained within a job description.
We collect this information from you directly (over the telephone, by email or face to face) or via other sources such as candidates and other media. We believe that the more information that we are able to gain from you, the better we can perform our purpose of finding you the right candidate for your role. This data is stored securely and is shared primarily with candidates during the recruitment process. We of course adhere to our confidentiality policy, and all information is handled in accordance with this.
We may use your personal data for the above purposes if we deem it necessary to do so for our legitimate interests. We do this in strict accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR.
As a recruitment business, we believe that collecting information from candidates and clients allows us to provide a highly efficient and successful offering to both. By using that information we are able to satisfy our aims of finding suitable job opportunities for our candidates, assisting clients with filling roles and allowing our business to run smoothly and successfully.
